That doesn’t leave much time. I would have expected that current visa holders wouldn’t fall under this rule. Shouldn’t it be a legal standard not to apply new rules retroactively?
- softwaredoug 1y agoThis is a “better safe than sorry” measure by these companies. I think it’s not 100% clear on existing H1Bs.
- yibg 1y agoNo one is going take a chance on that if they don't have to. I'm expecting chaos at the ports of entry tomorrow unless there is some clarification / guidance provided today by the white house.
