I am fairly sure Microsoft owns the typescript trademark.

  I used https://tmsearch.uspto.gov/ https://tmsearch.uspto.gov/ and didn't find it listed there. It used to belong to Lotus. It seems that MS has not trademarked TypeScript.

    Yes you are right, apparently not TypeScript or TS.
