- jszymborski 1y agoThat is unironically what happened here. The comments Kimmel made here did not disparage Kirk, but rather the administration's reaction to his shooting.

- nullocator 1y agoWhat is incorrect about that statement? The shooter grew up in a MAGA/Republican household. There are lots of examples over the last week of the Trump admin and MAGA personalities using Charlie Kirks death for political gain. In fact I would say them using Charlie Kirk's death to cancel Jimmy Kimmel is literally them using his death for political gain.

- jszymborski 1y agoRight, which part of that, especially if you are a republican, is disparaging to Kirk? What part of that is ethically or morally objectionable let alone warranting the FCC to intervene? You forgot the rest of the quote: “In between the finger-pointing, there was grieving.” That, however, is criticism of the administration.
