Papers should not be accepted until an independent lab has replicated the results. It’s pretty simple but people are incentivized to not care if it’s replicable because they need the paper to publish to advance their career
- jay_kyburz 1y agoAgreed, and the independent lab should be chosen by the publisher, and be kept secret until results are in.
- mcswell 1y agoIn many cases--longitudinal studies are an example, but not the only one--that's not feasible. And it's often expensive--who would pay for it?
