It was hard but I did eventually discover a non-android, non-wifi, bluetooth enabled device that allows me to stream Bluetooth from my phone to the player. Allowing me to play streaming services and keeping my phone separate. Granted you can't use bluetooth headphones while doing this but I've always preferred wired anyway.
