I'll give it a try, I installed the iOS and iPadOS betas and I actually like some of the changes. But I do not understand how the color-tinted UI/icons ever go

  That’s just a psychological experiment to see how many people go through the standard: enable puke disable cycle. I too fell for it.

    I have a red tint that turns on only when I'm in sleep mode--it's like an added layer of dark mode. That's about the only use I've found for it!
