It's short for Aristotle, so the pronunciation may be different.
- rozab 1y agoSo is the cockney rhyming slang! aris -> aristotle -> bottle -> bottle and glass -> ass I wouldn't actually worry about it, it's not commonly used but I think most UK people would know of it
