I'm sure I don't have to explain that racial discrimination in housing is illegal under civil rights law. So it's "not mandatory", just doing anything to directly avoid it is illegal. Anyway this is all the tactical ignorance I'm willing to suffer - goodbye.
- estearum 1y ago"Diversity is mandatory" means that you are required to add additional people who are diverse. "Diversity is forbidden" means that you are not allowed to add additional people who are diverse. "Diversity is allowed" -- which is how a free country operates -- is what we have today. Tactical ignorance indeed ;)

- estearum 1y agoYeah, you're not allowed to prevent people from buying land near you because of their skin color. Why is this a problem? Can't you just say "I'm racist and I don't like it" so we can move on? There's nothing deeper at play here.
