PHP has Composer, and it's extremely good!
- kijin 1y agoPHP is much closer to raw C and doesn't do any threading by default, so I suppose composer doesn't suffer from the thread synchronization and event loop related issues that differentiate bun from npm.
- gertop 1y agoBut node doesn't do threading by default either? Are you saying that npm is somehow multithreaded?
