You fail to mention that the 17 and 16e don't only differ by weight. Miniaturization is costly.
- akutlay 1y agoYes but the name “Air” claims lightweight, not thin
- liamwire 1y agoAir, as a product line, quite famously started with Jobs emphasising the thinness of the MacBook Air by pulling it from a paper folder. Taking what are ultimately marketing terms as literal face-value descriptors isn't particularly useful.
