- rany_ 1y agoOf course they would. Regulatory capture. In my opinion, regulating AI companies/models is the WRONG way to go. Instead, we should regulate HOW companies/major stakeholders use AI.
- bko 1y agoNow why would a giant well funded AI company be in favor of the government imposing strict requirements on all AI companies that would increase the cost of operating their business. Quite the mystery
- Leary 1y ago“Large frontier developer”: a frontier developer that together with its affiliates collectively had annual gross revenues in excess of five hundred million dollars ($500,000,000) in the preceding calendar year. So any large company training LLMs, no matter the capability, is considered a frontier developer?
