Most of this reads as disingenuous to me. Not all of us have the capacity or skill to scale so we need to take drastic measures to keep services up. I do believe in and love the open web. But the AI scrapers need to change, not me! They're the ones with the money and the 10x engineers (apparently). Read my sitemap and crawl my content from one IP, don't just haphazardly crawl and click every damn link and search term from hundreds or thousands of IPs every day!
