Ground source heat pumps absolutely do concentrate heat. See e.g. https://edwardsroyalcomfort.com/how-warm-does-geothermal-heating-get/ https://edwardsroyalcomfort.com/how-warm-does-geothermal-hea..., typical ground temps are around 60F and system output is above 100F.
