Care to meet me for coffee at sightglass on seventh some time? we'll find feces smears within one block or coffee's on me.
- kstrauser 1y agoThat’s within one block of the TL, so I’m not shocked. When you’re immediately adjacent to the worst neighborhood in SF, you’re going to see some bad-neighborhood stuff. It’s going to look a lot different than, say, Nob Hill or Noe Valley.
- pengaru 1y agoTL-affinity for these issues hasn't been an accurate description of SF for several years. We're talking about downtown SF, that's it. Part of Civic Center was converted into a skate park to drive the homeless out because what used to be kept local-ish to the TL had spread throughout downtown. On any given night you'll now find an open air market of stolen goods at the corner of Seventh and Market, across from Civic Center. Is that in the TL? The situation is more fluid than in the past, and these people are indeed still sleeping and shitting on the sidewalks.
- jedberg 1y agoI don't drink coffee, but I believe you. I'm sure there are still some areas that are bad. I just haven't seen it in the areas that I frequent (although I used to).
