- Podrod 1y agoI don't think they ever stopped using the name. The wiki article has Sound Blaster audio devices listed as being released up to 2021 and a quick search on Amazon shows they're still selling them brand new. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sound_Blaster https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sound_Blaster Guessing the kickstarter is for some retro thing judging by the image of their old talking parrot on that announcement page.
