There's certainly a lot of half-bakery out there in CMS land, but as others have said you can't "solve" content management any more than you can come up with a single standard size for books and publish all books that way. All content is different, and the way it's produced is different. I think there is a market for componentized solutions to CMS -- solve one portion of the problem, but solve it really well. This is basically what drupal is trying to do but I would sooner eat my foot than configure drupal. So, hey, get cracking on that awesome new CMS of yours! :-)
