Time to start taking that those CS classes before blogging
- kjfarm 1y agoThis response comes across as unnecessarily toxic and quip-y, which is a shame because there's real substance here. The author clearly understands database design, referencing concepts like normal forms and Boyce-Codd Normal Form (BCNF). Even if I don't agree with the conclusion, I have to respect anyone who takes the time to lay out their argument. Challenging ideas are what help our community grow.

- eatonphil 1y agoGuessing from the relevant masters thesis linked on his site and his time at materialize and tigerbeetle, Jamie's been working on databases for at least like 15 years? At least personally when Jamie says something I listen. :)
