When something in SQL becomes cumbersome or difficult to work with, people often tend to create entirely new solutions rather than improving the existing ones. Few developers seem interested in refining SQL itself.
- bmn__ 1y agoThe hurdle to entry is too damn high. If you want to have your day ruined, let an ISO WG participant explain to you the social and monetary capital needed just to be able to make the most timid of a suggestion for refining the language.
