- Amezarak 1y agoNone of the tweets meet the “imminent lawless action” standard and so they are all completely legal in the US. Unfortunately, journalists and social media experts have been attempting to water down 1A rights by declaring basically everything incitement and equating words with violence, but a very strong legal standard is still in place. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brandenburg_v._Ohio https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brandenburg_v._Ohio In the US, it is perfectly legal to make social media posts like “all x should be killed.” Laws against promoting violence are specifically unconstitutional and have been struck down.
