Setting alarms is one of the few tasks I can rely on Siri to handle correctly, so I haven’t used the app in years.
- _kyran 1y agoNot sure if it still exists, but a few years ago there was a bug that if an alarm was created using Siri, it wouldn’t make a noise at the set time. It would show as a switched on in the clock app, but wouldn’t actually do the one thing it was meant to do.

- godelski 1y agoI'm a bit confused by your comment. Are you saying OP is holding the phone wrong? Offering an alternative solution? Just making a comment about how it isn't an issue for you?
- macintux 1y agoIt was both a suggestion for an alternative mechanism that might prove less frustrating and a gripe that Siri is still, after so many years, mostly incapable of being a useful assistant.
