Biden literally campaigned on “nothing will fundamentally change”. Why would people think his VP would suddenly be different. Add in her proven unpopularity and the fact that they didn’t run a primary and you have a perfect recipe for a total disaster.

I mean VPs are typically selected to be very different from their running mate. Just think of Trump and Pence. Or Trump and the guy who called him "America's Hitler".
