What a wise, noble, and rational position to take when your side is in control of the official government offices and perpetrating unconstitutional and otherwise unlawful violence against anyone deemed to be undesirable. Unlawful and unconstitutional violence without a due process is the definition of vigilante justice. The fact that it's being perpetrated by people in uniforms doesn't legitimize it unless you believe in autocracy.
