- jeffbee 1y agoThis is a claim you can easily confirm or deny, considering that 144-core, 8-channel implementations of the Xeon 6E exist in the marketplace today.

- nullc 1y ago.5gb of cache for 288 cores is fairly limited. AMD 9684X from two years ago has 6x the cache per core, and also much more memory bandwidth per core. I'd really like to see more chips with 100+gb of eDRAM. Most things I've run that aren't memory bandwidth limited are already so fast...
