This does not change a thing for China as the whole single item low value thing is hardly a significant income overall, but it will devistate many small and micro repair services and hobbiests in the US, and exactly, right now, there millions of people waiting for the thing they wont get, a little thing, of no real concequence, to do thing with the other thing that goes click and the thing works again, which is inordinatly satisfying, but will now cost $37 instead of $8.29 which breaks the whole model. As these low value packages are so varied in contents and end up dispersed over the whole country, there cant and wont be any particular effect, other than resentment, as varied as the packages and people waiting, finding out that the little thing of no consequence to anyone has been stolen, in broad daylight, as part of a greater attack on, as it turns out,everything.
