Yes the user mode side is still closed, but that was never really the issue.
- yencabulator 1y agoThat's not enough to make them be a nice member of the ecosystem. The bar is that the manufacturer submits changes to mainline kernel. Actually, look at those commits! That repository is ridiculous. It's code thrown over the wall. Nobody but NVidia will ever work on that code.
