Is anyone here affected by this? I'd be surprised but I'm curious

Me. I've been on Typepad since I started my blog in 2004. Even though it's clunky I've been able to use it for 21+ years. Moving to Ghost now, will see what happens, but I'm not optimistic. Over 24 million page views, lost in the ether.... https://imgur.com/a/mHBQBGD https://imgur.com/a/mHBQBGD

Guess that is https://bookofjoe.typepad.com/ https://bookofjoe.typepad.com/ - adding it to the ArchiveTeam list of blogs to save.

Seems that is hosted on TypePad too? Why do the two sites show different content, despite both being hosted on TypePad?

I have no clue. But the latter one is up to date.

Wow that's an incredible amount of views. And an incredible shame at the same time. If you want to try out my app Pagecord (https://pagecord.com https://pagecord.com) I'd happily try and help you migrate over. Biggest problem is the death of the *.typepad.com domain though. I wonder if they'd be willing to add 301 redirects for a year or three? One can hope...

Thank you. I'm not gonna bother migrating because when I tried about 10 years ago it was a total thrash/FAIL. >I wonder if they'd be willing to add 301 redirects for a year or three? One can hope... From my painful experience with them of over two decades re: failing to do stuff they should've been doing, I would estimate the likelihood of them even responding to a request like that now is an imaginary number.
