Senator Dodd gave a very impassioned and long speech on the floor arguing against that retroactive immunity. It didn't involve identical issues as his efforts for the MPAA, but it is a pretty radical change in sentiments nonetheless. If we can be unpleasantly surprised, it would be nice to be pleasantly surprised every now and then, too.
