Don't call the PEOPLE using your software "consumers", they're people.
- steevdave 14y agoWhile I agree that people are people, they are also consumers. And he's talking about the consumer market, not enthusiasts adding it to their own systems so in this context it makes sense.
- shmerl 14y agoIt's degrading, because not only tech enthusiasts can use computers for creative activity, becoming producers, rather than consumers.
- shmerl 14y agoI'd rather call them users. Consumers doesn't sound so good.
