Very nice. Glad Framework finally updated the CPU/APU on this because I really want the Ryzen AI APU in a 16 inch form factor (I don't care about dedicated GPUs though).
- umbra07 1y agoMy understanding was that there's not really anything you can do with the NPU yet?
- kieranl 1y agoCopilot supports it. And on windows you can try AMD tools like https://github.com/lemonade-sdk/lemonade https://github.com/lemonade-sdk/lemonade to run arbitrary LLMs. AMD is actively developing support for the NPU.
- dismalaf 1y agoDrivers for it are in Linux 6.14. That doesn't matter much for most people though. The actual benefit is that the integrated GPU is very beefy.
