Time for Linux phones with Android emulation
- hodgehog11 1y agoThis seems like the only sensible long-term solution to me unless anyone else has an alternative. AOSP public access is already on the chopping block, custom ROMs are the short term solution but still operate at Google's whim under the hood.
- WhyNotHugo 1y agoI've been working (slowly, due to lack of time) on running VMs with Waydroid inside of Linux Phones. Sadly, I haven't found any resources to running a _regular_ Android VM on Linux. The few resources focused on that use x86_64, which is not reasonable for a Linux phone.
