Is there a proton/wine-like thing that lets me try MacOS apps on Linux or Windows?
- viraptor 1y agoIn practice - no. There's Darling https://darlinghq.org/ https://darlinghq.org/ but it only supports basic cli things for now. There was some idea for gui support https://github.com/darlinghq/darling-appkit-gui https://github.com/darlinghq/darling-appkit-gui but that is not working and the project is very incomplete. Nobody else is working on the GUI side. I can tell because I'm working on the ibtool replacement and none of the relevant constants or required code exists anywhere on Google. It's a complete reverse engineering from scratch for anything added in the last decade.
