This isn't legal in the EU is it?
- sunaookami 1y agoIt is. Notarization like Apple does is also legal. In fact the EU commission would welcome this with open arms since they can now access the personal data of every developer and can order Google to ban every app they want. This goes hand-in-hand with their new "Digital wallet" app that will be launched next year.
- frm88 1y agoI wouldn't be so sure. The DMA is very much against gatekeeping and a couple of days ago Google lost in court to 1&1 (in Germany) regarding keeping Android users in a walled garden [0]. This is in appeal now. We'll see.
