Reverse-engineering the Globus INK, a Soviet spaceflight navigation computer (2023)
- hbarka 1y agoBrilliant. Mr. Shirriff, please do the Antikythera next.
- trhway 1y agoBoth remind some of those built in the "3-body problem". My pet peeve is that even at Antikythera times they could have, if they had knowledge, built electronic devices - copper wire needle contact with crystalized molten sand gives you a diode junction, add a wire - transistor, and leather, brine, copper disks - electricity.
- ahazred8ta 1y agoThere was a guy on youtube who used a kiln to smelt copper ore and zinc ore, made wire coils and a vinegar battery, and demonstrated a telegraph made with bronze age resources.
- sentinelsignal 1y agoI've partially heard of Antikythera. What do experts think it is?
