And, so? Government back then wanted something, government right now wants something (slightly?) different? The reality is any government (USG included) getting 10% share ownership in a company is ... barely news. The more interesting news (or speculation) is whether this is a smart move or not.

I dunno if you lived through 2008, but the government actions at the time were pretty big news.

  Not nationalizing as in confiscating, but bailing out, like it's 2008. A 10% stake is not even that big. Major news nevertheless.
