This is flippant, but incorrect in a general sense. Those who cheat are often near the top of their chosen game, and are looking for that edge to be "the best".
- matthewaveryusa 1y agoPerhaps in sports and games where identities are known, but for gaming it's mostly teens pushing boundaries and having fun the way teens do. At least that was my experience gaming with cheaters in counter-strike and wc3 15-20 years ago
