Originally from the UK I've lived in Australia for the last thirty years in a fibro cottage without A/C where the summer temperature reaches 35C/95F inside the house and to manage I just strip down and handle it. I do have one mechanical fan for my yoga practice. Oh, and the winter temp reaches 7C/45F and I don't use heating either.
