it's almost like every language need another standards: safeunicode. which does away with control flow and specially positioning garbage. and doesn't consider as valid unknown (or missing) surrogates. why do i want very specialized text tabulation and positioning chars in my string? it's as if they tried to solve text encoding AND solve CSV and pagination and desktop publishing all in one go.
