It's pretty common for it to have happened to someone, in a given year. It's so unlikely to happen to any given individual, that it's not worth worrying about.

- mdp2021 1y agoIt is important to know that some places still have endemic infection in rodents. For example, in a world were some people (even those of a medical background, looking at data) die of rabies because "oh look a wild animal approaching with a sad face, he wants a little cuddle" ("it's sick, madam").
