Also, people who can't easily move large amounts of money are weaker in organizing against a corrupt government.
It partners well with disarming the populace.

- kazinator 1y agoNot always. There are ways to move your money around the globe that are not criminal. Governments don't like it when people get up and take their wealth elsewhere due to the shit conditions they allowed to come about.
