- andrekandre 1y agothey are just following the thiel playbook: race to monopoly position as fast as possible, then extract profits afterwards (which inevitably leads to the inevitable shitnization)
- lm28469 1y agoThey're all bleeding money so yes it's inevitable. It's always the same thing, uber, food delivery, escooter, &c. they bait you with cheap trials and stay cheap until the investors money run out, and once you're reliant on them they jack up the prices as high as they can.
- neuronic 1y agoSomeone needs to finance absurd operational costs if the services are supposed to stick around.
