I did several years at a burger joint and it was a bitch and a half just to get that. I found out while I was at said joint that you and I are nightmares for such places because they know that (a) we're out at first opportunity and (b) we're likely to get said opportunities relatively quickly. Hiring and replacing people is expensive so it's beneficial to avoid people who aren't likely to stay long. I know it's a small point to make but it seems the gp covered most everything else.
