TC Disrupt 24 hr Hack: Peer-to-peer career advice, on demand
- xenen 14y agoIs there any existing service out there that is not a 24hr hack? I for one find something like this extremely valuable and helpful and I'd pay money for one that has some traction and is more than just a demo.
- sachitgupta 14y agoHere's another one: http://clarity.fm/home http://clarity.fm/home They've already got a bunch of experts on there too.
- jmilinovich 14y agothank you so much for the feedback xenen - the team and I are excited to continue build this out and continue the momentum. clarity.fm is a similar player in this space but (as of today) pivoted to focus specifically on business owners, not end consumers. Maven.co also plays in this place but doesn't directly overlap.
- cuadraman 14y agoIt's a great idea.. I usually am a little confused about my career.. Sometimes I ask for advice to people I acknowledge as experts.. but it's frequently difficult to contact them
- jerluc 14y agoSounds like a good idea, especially the fact that it greatly minimizes the feedback time of communicating with each other (unlike email, Linkedin, etc).
- dchak23 14y agoThe search function on Clarity.fm is rather confusing and seems sort of ineffective. You mainly have to rely on their recommendation to find a valuable expert/mentor. Also, their experts seem to be limited to just tech and business owners.
