This is about creating a moral panic. That ship has sailed back in 2020. This is a calculated move towards voter suppression. The playbook is that an overgrown ICE could be used to 'police' the polling stations and discourage brown people from voting, if mail-in voting is challenged and states bend the knee to cheeto.
