ZFS scrubs check (much) less than you probably think they do (2018)
- nabla9 1y agoThoise ZAP objects are stored in blocks that are verified. In a ZFS pool, all data—including metadata—is stored in blocks. Scrub verifies that written data is has matches the checksum, it's not data structure verifier.
