I almost always choose Go over Rust when they are similarly suited to something. I only use Rust when Go's safety isn't sufficient. Go is a joy to use, Rust rarely is (in my experience). I wouldn't say either of them have won. I'd say both are amazing tools, too. We're spoiled for choices these days.
