Weird that such obvious solutions not being considered. Quebec probably would have had even been a great pumped storage site powering entire New England and Eastern Canada, but the incentives to think big are not aligned it seems.
- thehappypm 1y agoIn my opinion, the best thing to do would be for Quebec to start being a data center world hub. They have enough energy to power all the world’s data centers, and they would essentially be exporting their energy by way of offseting demand elsewhere.
