Hey folks,
I’ve been thinking about how many side projects are born out of frustration.
Not from some “big idea,” but from something in our lives that’s just… broken.
For me, that thing was job hunting.
100+ apps sent
Countless resumes rewritten
Cover letters draining hours of energy
And spreadsheets that felt more complicated than the actual jobs
I hit a point where I thought: if I can’t land a job, I might as well code something useful out of the process.
That’s how Woberry started — a tool that generates cover letters with AI, tunes resumes, and tracks applications without spreadsheets. What began as my coping mechanism slowly turned into something others started using too.
My question to the community:
What’s the most frustrating real-life problem you’ve ever “accidentally” turned into a side project?
I’m curious because sometimes the best projects don’t come from inspiration, they come from exhaustion.
