honestly, you are most likely for this subsidy because you are getting benefit from it, plus knowledge that other large companies get similar subsidies. I'm all for this kind of subsidy too, as I'd say there's a significant public good for low-cost fiber. But most likely you wouldn't be so enthusiastic if you didn't value the service being rendered.
