  Easy to say if you live in the ‘burbs, get all your stuff delivered by Amazon, get food delivery, etc. so you never need to go out in it. It was Ronald Reagan’s neoliberal policy to turn downtowns into open air asylums.

    Sorry I think you mistook my previous comment for a serious attack on the homeless. It was hyperbole to highlight the absurdity of punishing the homeless even more.

  If shelter is provided, they damn well better be in it, regardless of whether they will have to be sober, do chores, or obey the rules.
