Amen, BitBucket outages are regular and showstopping. Self hosting is genuinely more reliable.
- ta1243 1y agoNoooo!! It's impossible to get three nines uptime when you self host something on a single raspberry pi, I read it on the internet so it must be true.
- bargainbin 1y agoAh, you clearly haven’t worked with the self hosting teams that I have. I hope I never again have to explain to someone that you can’t just “restore the code from the weekly database backup” because the code is in the file system they just osmosed.
